About Freedom Automotive Services
Freedom Automotive was founded in 1986 by John and Janice Miller. Originally located on South Main in Stafford in a 2700 square foot building, they set to work to build a business based on relationships of trust and service. In 1991 they moved to the present location at 13403 Murphy Road in Stafford, Texas. Here they continue to service the Southwest Houston and East Fort Bend community.
At Freedom the business motto is “customers for life”, modeled after Carl Sewell’s book by the same name. Freedom believes that customers, treated right, with honesty and integrity, will keep coming back, and referring their friends. Clients are invited to become “Freedom family members”.
We employ ASE Certified Technicians in the mechanical repair department, and I-CAR Certified Technicians in the Paint and Body Shop.
ASE is the National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence, an independent organization that tests and certifies auto and truck repair technicians, establishes minimum criteria and certifies training schools around the country.
I-CAR is the Inter-Industry Conference on Auto-Collision Repair, a coalition of vehicle manufacturers, insurance companies and the collision repair industry that sets standards for repair procedures and training for repair technicians.
The Automotive Service Association (ASA) is an international organization of independent repair shop owners joined together to promote professionalism and ethics in our industry. John has served on both the local and state boards and constantly participates in activities concerning the (ASA).
The Association of Automotive Service Providers (AASP) is similar to the ASA, but geared more to local interests. Both John and son Joe have served with this organization on the local board.
Freedom Automotive is a Sponsoring Member of the International Automotive Technicians Network (iATN), an internet based group of 13,000 shop owners and technicians that share information about auto repair and management.
Freedom Automotive is a member of the Fort Bend Chamber of Commerce.
Freedom Automotive Collision Repair is approved by all the major insurance companies. Which means that you can have your vehicle repaired here and we can assist you with the insurance claims.
Our People Make The Difference!
